Are You An Executive Or Professional That Would Like To Learn MMA/BJJ/Muay Thai Through Private Personalized Coaching?
Accelerate Your Learning or Learn At Your Own Pace with Personalized Attention Catered To Your Specific Needs And Goals
For some students new to the art, private lessons are a way to learn in a more controlled setting. Often, an individual will have slightly different goals than that of a group class. Perhaps you are an Executive wanting more personalized attention. Or you have a physical parameter that you want to learn to work around, meanwhile requiring your training partners to take extra care and attention. Or you just want to get a head start before you train in a group class. Whatever the reason, some students prefer to learn in private (1-on-1) or semi-private (small groups of 2-6) lessons which are tailored specifically to their pace, schedule, fitness level, and personalities.
Private Lessons are also a popular way for other martial artists to supplement their training. Often, instructors or advanced students from other martial art styles wish to learn particular aspects of the arts that we teach at Lin Martial Arts. During private lessons, they often can learn much faster than during a regular class due to their foundation in other martial arts.
Private Lessons are an effective way to turbocharge your training. During private lessons, an instructor can spend one-on-one time with you to fine tune your techniques and improve your performance. It is a popular way for students to accelerate their progress.
If you are intersted in private lessons, please give us a call 905-503-0623 or email us 906bjj@gmail.com
Rave Review: From An IronMan Triathelete- My BJJ Increased Ten-Fold From Private Lessons
“I am a competitive Ironman triathlete and runner who took up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu almost one year ago. I have trained and raced throughout North America and Europe and have worked with some of the best triathlon coaches in the world. The top coaches all have three things in common – technical expertise, understanding of the individual athlete, and patience. Steve Lin embodies these three attributes in his approach to teaching jiu jitsu.
Steve takes a traditional and methodical approach to teaching jiu jitsu. He begins by concentrating on the hierarchy of positions and stressing the importance of position and pressure before moving on to flashier submissions. Steve teaches Jiu Jitsu as an art form rather than a fight against force.
In the year I have been working with Steve, my jiu jitsu has improve ten-fold. Although group lessons are helpful and necessary to adapt your moves to different intensities and body types, I have found private sessions with Steve most helpful to work on the finer points of Jiu Jitsu. One-on-one sessions with Steve have been invaluable to my development in the art. I would not be where I am now without them. I would encourage everybody to do private sessions with Steve especially when you are new to Jiu Jitsu, need help with a particular position or submission, or are building a gameplan for an upcoming tournament/fight.
I cannot recommend an instructor more than I would Steve Lin.”
